Social Artistry, established in 2018 by the visionary Neváda "Vada Nesta" Staples, emerged as a vital hub for Black business owners and artists in Greensboro, North Carolina. Recognizing the need for stronger connections within the community, Social Artistry began as an entertainment management company, nurturing local talent and securing performance opportunities at prominent events such as the Earth Girl Festival and the Downtown Block Party. Further diversifying its offerings, the company introduced Culture Code, a brand specializing in unique jewelry, literature, and gemstones, which were featured at events like the Earth Girl Festival and the annual LGBTQ Cookout in Winston-Salem, NC. After a period of strategic restructuring, Social Artistry has re-emerged with a renewed focus, partnering with the dynamic Black queer band IyeRoot to deliver impactful live music experiences to the queer community. Beyond performances, Social Artistry provides comprehensive music services, including band bookings, songwriting, and collaborative projects. Looking ahead, Social Artistry is committed to expanding its community outreach initiatives, aiming to inspire and equip queer youth with the resources and guidance necessary to realize their creative aspirations.
